Laurence was a Freelance Validation Engineer from July 2017- February 2018 at Pfizer, Catania, where I met him. His skills, communication, and passion always motivated our production team. He assisted in running Cleaning Validation projects. Laurence listened to Production and the Validation team’s demands. Laurence also helped make the Production Operators work effectively by always showing an optimistic and cheerful approach to executing Cleaning Validation runs including explaining many small significant details to all about the tasks in hand via a translator from English to Italian. Subsequent to his time in Catania I was lucky to experience him as a Trainer in his own “Introductory Training in Cleaning Validation” in Copenhagen in June 2018. His passion, great know-how, and pleasant manner of delivering the training gave all the participants a much better understanding of the highly complex subject Cleaning Validation is.  As both a Freelance Validation Engineer or a Validation Teacher, Laurence earns my highest recommendation.

I had the pleasure of working with Laurence, who was a Freelance Validation Engineer with us on an important compliance project in September – October 2018. Laurence played a primary role in getting our equipment validated. Not only did he author or/and approve the protocols, but he was out in the production area during all validation testing and maintained a hands-on approach from planning to post-execution. Laurence and I have collaborated on several projects in Unomedical / Convatec, in Osted, Denmark in the period of 2016-2017 relating to Medical devices test equipment / test methods as he was the in-house SME for Validation. Furthermore he was working as project manager of Continuous Improvement tasks involving both our facilities in DK and in Mexico, always showing emotional intelligence, a realistic Quality mindset and very good awareness to cultural differences.
